I'll have to give a longer review or something via BZP, but I love this piece muchily! So much character, and I honestly don't see any bad flaws--the inking came out really nice on this too. Lately when I ink I accidently make it much to thick when it'd be a lot better thinner, like this. :<

I'll definitely have to commission you when I get the money; thank you for sharing this piece!

Beautiful job! While I can see what you mean when you say you're not totally happy with the final scanned product (Pohatu's mask seems a bit too dark, for instance), it's still tremendously impressive. Love seeing all their little quirks.

By the way, one curiosity of mine: why is Tahu's eye color and accent color different from the set, while the others remain the same? Surely the pink doesn't do all that much harm?

If I can ever make a commission (or just a recommendation), it'd be lovely to see a "where are they now?"-type drawing, with the same cast of characters but with their new adaptive armor (save Takua, who would be TAKANUVA!) Spooking of, have you read the 2008 books? I'm sure you'd love the characterization of the Toa Nuva and Takanuva. It was definitely a taste of nostalgia for me.

I was wondering when we'd get to see the old Gang from you again. This is totally amazing!
Aside from the great facial expressions and poses, the little gimmicks you gave the charies (The blue Algae-thingy Takua holds and the Oranges of course ) are a reall nice touch.
Always liked how your style of drawing them could be easily used as the real movie-style, great work.
And a big thumbs-up on Gali's mask ^^ I've noticed it in your other drawings of her before, but you do a really great job on making the mask look like it's Set/movie counterpart but still feminine.
The colouring looks great and is very smooth, something I found very hard to achieve.

Excellent! Absolutely AWESOME! Uh oh... is that a Madu Fruit in Lewa's hand? No wonder why Onua's a little startled. Good old Pohatu, being the friendliest as usual. And Kopaka's... smiling? Nice.

Heeheehee, Lewa throwing oranges. But Kopaka's ready to strike back. XD I really love how bring their personalities off the "boy's comics" pedistal of sharp-edgedness (lol ...) and make them a little more personable. In a franchise where 95% of the stand-alone art you see is them jumping around destroying something, a calmer composition is very nice to see.

Anyway. XD Ummm, I noticed you asked for critique, and while I can't submit one, I do always like getting some critical feedback myself. The only thing that kind-of gets me is either the height or width of the neck. Right now their necks seem a little too thin for the size of the head, and either shortening them a rung or widing them a touch would bring their heads closer to the collar area. Of course, they're Bionicle so parts of their anatomy are drastically different. XD And don't worry about it.

And yes, bring it to Brickfair!
